Sistemas de Fachada Ventilada

Ventilated facades

The ventilated façade is an exterior cladding system with an intermediate air gap between it and the building’s enclosure, where the air circulation is permanent and creates a chimney effect, which is due to the heating of the exterior wall and causes a variation of The density of the air layer in the chamber relative to the ambient air, with the consequent upward movement of the air by pressure difference. This outdoor insulation allows indoor temperatures to remain stable in summer and winter. In winter it limits the dangers of condensation and low temperature sensations. The interior temperature does not oscillate abruptly despite the interruptions of the heating at night or the tips of the oscillations of the outside winter and summer temperature. The ventilated facade with air chamber also eliminates the thermal bridges that are created in the slabs because the system goes always ahead of them eliminating the thermal dispersion up to 30% in some cases.

KARRAT S-7

KARRAT S-7 is a system for the coating of ventilated facades of direct and hidden fixation, resulting from an industrial process in which an aluminum profile (profile “7 “), Which is used for the support of these to an aluminum substructure, which will have been previously fixed to the enclosure of the building.

The substructure consists of a framework of vertical and horizontal aluminum profiles.

The vertical profiles have as their mission to collect the loads of the horizontal profiles and to transmit them to the structure through support and retaining brackets, with which the assembly guarantees the correct transmission of all the actions produced both the own weight of the lining and Wind loads.

It is also envisaged that the assembly will freely allow the movements produced by the expansion of the materials.

The uniqueness of the KARRAT System is the profile “7” which is characterized by its incorporation to the plates by means of an industrialized process that makes it totally solidary to them and for facilitating the installation of the coating plates in an extraordinary way.

This system also allows the exchange of plates easily in case of breakage or damage.

GRAPA OCULTA DGO

DGO is a system based on the punctual anchorage of the lining pieces by means of staples provided with “U” shaped tabs, on which they are supported.

The pieces fit into the tongues by means of grooves that are practiced in their songs, being therefore the staples hidden to the external view.

The staples are bolted to the system-specific vertical “T” profiles, which in turn are attached to the building’s enclosure by holding and retaining brackets just like the Karrat S-7 system.

GRAPA VISTA DGV

DGV in a system based on the punctual anchoring of the cladding pieces by means of staples provided with “U” shaped tabs on which the pieces are supported, in this case the vertical part of the tongue being visible since it comprises The entire thickness of the plate to the outer face of the plate.

The rest of the structure is the same as that used in the DGO system.

This system is possible to lacquer the staples in line with the color of the coating.

In both clamp systems DGO and DGV are complemented with adhesive strings applied on the “T” profile to eliminate possible vibrations by the action of the wind and fall by accidental breaks.
